Small Business GPS: Business Basics Part 3

You only need to register one time for the cluster. One registration pays for all three classes in the GPS series. Please register for the first class in this cluster.

Small Business Growth and Planning Series (Small Business GPS) is designed to provide participants with the information and resources to write or refine their business plan.

1) Strategic Planning, February 5
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Expand your blueprint for your business by identifying the values of your organization and creating a mission and vision statement. Learn how to set goals and position your business for success.

2) Choosing Your Business Structure, February 12
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Which legal structure is right for your business? When you’re starting a business, the options seem overwhelming. Explore the tax and legal implications of each option, find the one that is best suited for your business, and learn what the next steps are.

3) Successful Relationship Building, February 19
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Your business success depends largely on relationship building, but that requires intentionality, time, and confidence. Learn how to develop a relationship-building plan that will increase your network, your confidence, and your audience.

Cost: $60 for 3 classes

Parking will be available in the YWCA lot behind the building.  In addition, street parking meters are free after 5pm.

Note that Sheldon Blvd. is under construction so you will need to enter the parking lot from Division.

When arriving at the YWCA for your scheduled class, please use the building’s intercom at the entrance to gain access to the building.
